Snyders-Lance, Inc., Charlotte, N.C., reported an increase of 5.6 percent in net revenues for private label products in its fiscal third quarter, which ended Oct. 1, 2011.

The company posted the gain despite having margins hurt in the quarter by higher commodity costs, said CEO David V. Singer

Overall, the company announced net revenues for the third quarter of $422 million or 77 percent higher than last year’s total of $238 million, which was reported by Lance, Inc., prior to the merger with Snyder’s of Hanover, Inc., on Dec. 6, 2010.

In addition to several private label and third party brands, the company produces Snyder's of Hanover, Lance, Cape Cod, Tom's, Jays,  Krunchers!, Grande, Archway, O-Ke-Doke and Stella D'oro.
