One thing every retailer knows about is change. Change is a constant in your daily business activity.
Similarly, change is constant in the media business, too. In fact, if you aren’t changing, you are falling behind. The impetus of PLBuyer’s ongoing evolution is you-our retailer reader audience. .
The mission of PLBuyer is to not only provide the most comprehensive, credible and influential information for private label retailers but to offer our content in a variety of formats. This enables you to consume and interact with this information however you prefer. .
The PLBuyer brand is unmatched in the eyes of private label retailers. A survey of retailer delegates at PLMA clearly concluded PLBuyer is the “most valued” media brand serving the private label audience. .
Not one to rest on our laurels, PLBuyer introduced several critically important initiatives in 2011-the PLBuyer Superstore and the PLBuyer Design Excellence Awards. The PLBuyer Superstore is an online sourcing tool for private label retailers and the Design Excellence Awards recognized the best in private label design in 2011. .
Now, PLBuyer is proud to introduce our newest initiative, our first conference, Private Label: The Next Generation scheduled for June 5-7 in Chicago. .
The conference will feature more retailers speaking on their private label programs than any other conference in the industry. At press time for this issue, we have already nine retailers confirmed to present. The list includes Supervalu, Safeway, Family Dollar, Weis Markets, Price Chopper, Brookshire Brothers, Sunflower Farmers Market, Nash Finch and Longo’s. Many more are still being recruited to present. .
In addition to this fabulous curriculum, the conference will serve private label food and beverages from retailers nationwide. Delegates will vote on the quality of the different products throughout the conference. The identity of the retailers and suppliers will be unveiled when the results are shared at the end of the conference. .
The conference, like all of our other products in our portfolio, is being developed and designed to offer you an experience, content, and value unmatched in the industry. .
We at PLBuyer hope you decide to join us in Chicago. After all, this conference is for you! .
