PL Developments Raises Money for Charities

January 4, 2010

Westbury, N.Y.-based PL Developments, a supplier of over-the-counter FDA-approved products in the analgesic, gastrointestinal, cough/cold, sleep/motion and eye care categories, said it held its annual Holiday Charity Raffle Program to raise money for a charity of its associates’ choosing. The program raffled off gift certificates and merchandise contributed by the company’s associates, neighbors, friends and family.

PL Developments chose to donate the money raised in its 2009 raffle to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and the Lupus Foundation of America. The company said the money raised was split between both charities to provide worthy assistance in helping people maintain their health and well-being.

“It is part of our pharmaceutical company’s mission to care for the needs of our employees’ families,” said Linda Singer, vice president of Creative Services at PL Developments. “Each year, our Holiday Charity Raffle Program enables us to collectively choose charities close to our PL Developments family’s needs, and then work passionately to successfully make a meaningful donation.”
