Topco takes to premium
Topco introduces World Classics Trading Co., its new premium brand designed to capitalize on consumer trends toward increased experimentation with ethnic cuisine and new recipes. The line of international-type products is positioned as an entrepreneurial company employing a group of food fanatics to search the globe for new products. And the company is brought to life with a character named Hudson. Though the packaging never depicts his face, Hudson’s adventures are documented through graphics and journal snippets on the packaging. More products are to come, with the current line shipping this month including: extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar; pasta; couscous and rices; bruschettas; crackers and cheese; specialty olives; pasta sauces, including Arrabiata, Six Cheese, Tomato Basil, Creamy Vodka and Marinara; salsas in flavors such as Black Bean & Corn and Peach & Pinapple, and more.
