Daymon Launches Private Brand App
Calling it the world’s first private brand mobile app, Daymon Worldwide on Tuesday announced that it would make iDaymon available for iPhone, iPad and Android platforms.
The Stamford, Conn.-based company made the announcement at the Private Label Manufacturers Association’s World of Private Label trade show in Amsterdam. The mobile app features access to private brand resources and consumer insights, the company said in a news release, along with industry news and events.
“Private brands will continue to be a source of growth for retailers around the world, and with that growth comes the need for more and better information,” said Andres Siefken, chief marketing officer for Daymon Worldwide, in the release. “Large national and international brands usually have access to a wealth of research and insights, and our goal is to make sure that private brands have the same advantage that comes from real-time access to information.”
