Forty-four private label products have been voted finalists in PLBuyer’s Design Excellence Awards, celebrating the best in private label packaging.
Among the finalists selected by PLBuyer’s All-Star panel of private label packaging designers are offerings from Sam’s Club, Tesco, Walgreens, The Fresh Market, Roundy’s, Canadian retailer Longo’s, and Spartan.
Winners in 14 categories will be announced by PLBuyer Publisher Brion Palmer at a special reception Monday evening, Nov. 14, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare. A Best of Show winner also will be unveiled that evening, the award given to the product that recorded the highest combined score from PLBuyer judges.
Products were judged in September by a panel co-chaired by PLBuyer Editorial Director John N. Frank and Patrick Rodmell, president and CEO of Canadian design firm Watt International. Other judges were:
