100-Calorie Dog Treats

Blue Dog Bakery announced the launch of 100-Calorie Packs - Peanut Butter Doggie Paw treats. Also available for private label programs, the new packs offer a low-fat, on-the-go, portion-controlled snack option for pet owners concerned about their dogs’ weight. Each pack contains 10 Doggie Paw treats; each treat is only 10 calories and also helps maintain strong teeth and fresh breath.

Organic Snacks

Todd’s Inc. introduced a new line of snacks under the Huckleberry’s Farm brand name. The QAI and USDA certified organic line of premium-grade healthful snacks includes Choc-O-Cranberry Trail Mix, Wholesome Blend Trail Mix, Dark Chocolate Espresso Beans, Dark Chocolate Raisins, Yogurt Pretzels, Fruit Slices and many more items. Plum Preserve

Harvest Song’s newest artisanal preserve flavor is Plum Preserve. Formulated over the summer harvest, the product is made from fruit grown 100 percent naturally in volcanic soil and surrounding spring waters in the valleys of Mt. Ararat. Like its other (award-winning) fruit preserve counterparts, the product contains no pectin, no preservatives and no food coloring. All Harvest Song preserves are available for retailers’ store brand programs.

Rich in omega-3, protein and gamma linolenic acid, Hemp Bliss products from Manitoba Harvest Hemp Foods & Oils take the pleasant nutty flavor of hemp seed into a convenient non-dairy beverage format. The company’s new Unsweetened Hemp Bliss Organic Hempmilk is the first unsweetened organic hempmilk in North America. It joins Hemp Bliss Chocolate, Vanilla and Original varieties, all packaged in a 32-oz carton. Premium Organic and Natural Ketchup

The Fremont Co.’s new organic and natural premium private label program offers natural and organic ketchups made with real cane sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup. The company is certified organic by the Global Organic Alliance and USDA and is the only manufacturer producing regular, organic and natural ketchup.

Organic Certified Body Care

All-Natural Deli Meats

Full Circle, Topco’s line of natural and organic products, added deli meats to its portfolio. Perfume Goes Square

The Cosmetic Packaging Group, a division of O.BERK Co., introduced a line of flint glass perfume bottles called the Carelis Collection. The square-shaped bottles for perfumes and colognes come in 30-ml, 50-ml and 100-ml sizes, all with 15mm crimp-neck finishes. The collection can be further enhanced with optional frosting, ceramic decorating and labeling.

Skin Packaging System

Multivac launched the R175 CD skin packaging system, an affordable, compact system that delivers the advantages of Cryovac Darfresh skin packaging to meat and seafood processors with lower to moderate volumes.
