Elgin, Ill.-based John B. Sanfilippo & Son (JBSS), a processor of private label and national brand shelled and in-shell nuts and extruded snacks, said it named Robert J. Sarlls vice president, strategy and business development. In the newly created role, Sarlls will work with the senior management team to further develop and refine the company’s business strategy and support its execution. JBSS said Sarlls brings a wealth of food industry experience and leadership to JBSS.
