San Antonio, Texas-based retailer H-E-B dominated private label frozen food print promotions during the first four months of the year, an exclusive analysis done for PLBuyer’s eReport reveals.
H-E-B has devoted more space in its print ads to the category than other retailers examined in an analysis of year-to-date 2011 print circular ads done exclusively for PLBuyer's eReport by Chicago-based research firm MarketTrack.
The company also outpaced the competition in the grocery category. Some products in the category, such as soup, received 73 percent more print advertisement space with H-E-B than with direct competitors, according to the data.
MarketTrack analyzed the amount of weekly private label promotions in print circulars and online promotions since the first of the year.
