American Italian Pasta Co. launches a reduced-carbohydrate pasta for mainstream marketing. The new pasta has half the net grams of carbohydrates per serving – 19 grams per serving vs. the industry standard of 39 grams – and uses an increase in fiber and protein content to lower carbohydrate levels. Packaged in portable containers, the wipes are pre-moistened with a powerful antiseptic formula. A single towel kills 99.9 percent of disease-causing microbes in seconds, the company says.
