News about Daymon Worldwide and RightSmile.

Consumer packaged goods veteran Carla Cooper will become CEO and president of Daymon Worldwide, effective Jan. 1, 2011.  Cooper will be at the helm of one of the largest private brand companies in the world. Cooper, a Daymon Worldwide board member since 2009, replaces company co-founder Milton Sender, who will retain his role as chairman of the board. As the second CEO in Daymon Worldwide’s 40-year history, Cooper brings to the role almost 20 years in senior management positions at Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Procter and Gamble and The Kellogg Company. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of PepsiCo’s Quaker, Tropicana and Gatorade Sales organization.

RightSmile and :10 Minute Manicure are announcing an arrangement for RightSmile to private label in-store teeth whitening systems and supplies for :10 Minute locations. The private label program will entitle :10 Minute to sell RightSmile products under the brand name ClearSmile. This program brings with it the potential to deliver product to hundreds of retail outlets. RightSmile says revenue from this program at full deployment is conservatively estimated at $2 million per year, and could easily exceed twice that.
