H-E-B Promotes Store Brands in Contest

H-E-B’s annual Meal Maker Challenge is on Pinterest and this year features a food blogging contest spotlighting store brands. Until September 6, ten Texas bloggers will create recipes incorporating an H-E-B-designated ConAgra product of the week.

For example, H-E-B salsas were a featured store brand ingredient in August. The retailer posted on its Facebook page on August 9:

“Are you looking to try something creative with H-E-B Salsas? See how our #HEBMeals bloggers are incorporating it in this week’s Meal Maker Challenge with ConAgra Foods, Inc. Don’t forget to vote by repinning your favorite recipe – you could win the $1,000 grand prize! “

Sweepstakes entrants select finalists in the blogger contest with their pins. At the end, two finalists will faceoff at an in-person cooking competition.  

To enter the “Meal Maker Challenge Pin to Win Sweepstakes,” participants must fill out the entry form and then pin the promotion image to their own existing boards. They must then repin their five favorite blogger recipes from the sweepstakes’ official Pinterest board to complete the entry.

The grand prize winner will be selected at random receive a $1,000 H-E-B gift card and the first prize winner will receive a $500 gift card.
