The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors (ICMAD) will host its annual Cosmetic Technical Regulatory Forum, Feb. 14-15 at the Balboa Bay Club and Resort in Newport Beach, Calif.
ICMAD’s Cosmetic Technical Regulatory Forum is an event that provides attendees with necessary and relevant information on current regulatory and legislative news.
“The ICMAD Cosmetic Technical Regulatory Forum is beneficial in helping beauty entrepreneurs better manage the complex product regulations our industry faces,” said Pam Busiek, ICMAD President and CEO, in a statement. “The information and insight alone from our board members and industry experts is invaluable.”
The 2013 ICMAD Technical Regulatory Forumwill cover changes in federal and state landscape, an update on California’s Green Chemistry initiative, how to enter foreign markets, determining what your consumers are looking for, how product claims are fueling consumer lawsuits in California, and an update on FDA and FTC activities.
After the Cosmetic Technical Regulatory Forum, ICMAD will host its second annual Get With It...Get Healthy fitness and wellness event Feb. 16 to raise money for Look Good…Feel Better.
There will be an early bird discount for those who register, as well as for those who buy the two-day seminar before Jan. 20. Attendees can choose how many days to attend. Lunch will be provided. For more information and to register, visit www.icmad.org/calendar.
