Safeway has added a line of simmer and slow cooker sauces under its premium Safeway Select brand.

Promoting the new line for the holidays, Safeway wrote on its Facebook page on Sunday: “Busy holidays don't have anything on you! Whip up an international dish easier than ever before with our new Safeway Select Simmer and Slow Cooker Sauces.”

Sauce flavors include mandarin orange, lemon butter and sesame ginger.

Comments on the Facebook post were generally positive towards the sauce. Facebook user Chris Phelps suggested Safeway link the photo of the sauces to more information about them instead of a store locator.
