Cookies and Health care Products
Safeway Inc. is now offering a variety of new cookies, including Fudge Marshmallow, Fudge Strips and Fudge Mint Fudge Covered Mint Cookies. The cookies are available in a 9.4-ounce over-wrapped plastic tray that features a kosher dairy stamp. They are being retailed at $1.99 per bag.
The retailer also is offering, in the health and beauty care segment, its Extra Moisturizing Lotion that is fragrance-free. The lotion is available in a 16-ounce plastic bottle that features a flip-cap, and is being retailed for $6.99. Safeway’s Nasal Moisturizing Spray, and the company’s sugar-free Cough Drops with cooling vapors also have been launched recently. — Safeway Inc., Pleasanton, Calif.
Mustard and Granola Bars
Albertson’s 100% Natural Mustard is now available in a Spicy Mustard version. Packaged in a 12-ounce plastic bottle, the new mustard has a retail price of $1.49.
The company also is offering its Chewy Granola Bars in a 10-count variety pack. Each bar is 10 ounces, and each pack contains two bars of Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Low-Fat Smores, Low-Fat Apple Berry, Chocolate Chip and Low-Fat Oatmeal Cookie. — Albertsons, Boise, Idaho
Spicy and Sweet
The new Thai sauce being offered by Trader Joe’s is a delicate combination of chili and ginger blended with creamy coconut milk. The sauce is ideal for cooking meat, poultry, tofu or vegetables. Available in an 11-ounce jar, the yellow curry sauce has a retail price of $2.69.
For those with an indulgent sweet tooth, the company also is offering its new State of Bliss Espresso and Milk Chocolate bar, which is created from a blend of flavorful Arabica espresso beans that are crushed and sprinkled onto a thin layer of milk chocolate. The bars consist of a thin layer of rich dark chocolate topped with a blend of roasted nibs. The bars are available in a 2.5-ounce package and retail for $1.99. — Trader Joe’s, Monrovia, Calif. 
Quick Itch Relief
Rite Aid Corp. introduces its Quick Itch Relief which is a wash that removes poison ivy, oak or sumac oils from the skin. It quickly relieves itching and reduces redness and inflammation. — Rite Aid Corp., Camp Hill, Pa.
Smoothies and Baby Care
H-E-B now offers H-E-B Fresher Lasting Smoothies featuring combinations of fruits swirled into flavorful smoothies. The smoothies are all natural, made with no additives or preservatives. Flavor varieties include Mango Banana, Mixed Berry, Banana Pineapple Coconut and Strawberry Banana.
In its H-E-B Baby  lineup, the retailer now offers a new Pediatric Electrolyte. The new baby product reduces the risk of dehydration and according to the retailer is as nutritionally effective as Pedialyte, the leading national brand.  — H-E-B, San Antonio, Texas
Premium-crafted chocolates
Continuing the momentum to differentiate itself from other mass merchandisers, Target launches a collection of premium-crafted chocolates. The new Choxie collection includes Chile Limon Truffle Tiles, Toffee Almond Crunch and Chai Tea Truffle Temptations. The packaging is designed to be whimsical and brightly colored to create maximum shelf impact. — Target, Minneapolis
