Weis Markets Appoints Directors

Weis Markets, Sunbury, Pa., said it named Regina Tator and Greg Oldright directors of center store sales. Tator will oversee day-to-day merchandising, sales programs and promotions for dairy, frozen and all DSD categories. Oldright will oversee day-to-day merchandising, sales programs and promotions of all distribution center categories and specialty foods.

Weis also said it named Bruno Garisto director of private brands. He will oversee the retailer’s product development and sales and marketing for all center store, HBC and perishable private brand products.

Previously, Tator served as director of corporate brands at Price Chopper, Schenectady, N.Y.; and Oldright served as Weis’ sales manager, the retailer said. Garisto formerly was Weis’ director of center store sales and merchandising.
