7-Eleven to Bring Private Label Offerings to Former Sam's Mart

7-Eleven, Inc. announced last Friday that it plans to bring its private label products to the company’s newly acquired Sam’s Mart stores in North and South Carolina.


"We will provide the food, beverages and services that 7-Eleven stores are best known for.  Consumers will soon see Slurpee and Big Gulp drinks, Big Bite hot dogs and other roller grill items, 7-Eleven coffee and some 300 of our 7-Select private-brand items after we begin the conversion, which gets underway soon," said 7-Eleven’s executive vice president Sam Reynold’s in the announcement.


The Dallas, Texas-based 7-Eleven is one of the largest chains in the convenience retail industry and currently operates more than 9,000 stores in North America. Sam’s had 55 stores that will be converted to 7-Elevens. The deal is expected to close in February.
