Delhaize Group introduces its new On the Go Bistro line of ready-to-eat meals made from high-quality, wholesome ingredients. The new line of products is being offered by Delhaize Group’s subsidiaries — Food Lion and Bloom Supermarkets — and will include freshly prepared entrees, sides and family-sized meals. On the Go Bistro meals contain no added preservatives or flavor enhancers.

30-Minute Marinades

The Kroger Company’s line of 30-Minute Marinades has been repackaged for increased customer appeal. The line includes a number of varieties — Sesame Ginger with Mandarin Orange Juice; Teriyaki; Herb & Garlic; Lemon Pepper; Mesquite; Caribbean Jerk; Tequila Lime; and Hawaiian. Each of the varieties is available in a 12-ounce bottle.

Allergy Relief

The new Indoor/Outdoor Allergy Relief tablets from CVS are effective for 24 hours, the company says. The product offers relief from a runny nose; itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; and an itchy throat or nose. The tablet’s active ingredient is cetirizine hydrochloride, an antihistamine that provides users with results comparable to the leading brands. The product is available in packs containing 30 tablets.

Decadent Coffee

Spartan Stores Inc. now offers a variety of new coffees under its own brand. The offerings include Hazelnut, Vanilla Nut, Caramel Crème and Chocolate Raspberry.

Store Brand Beer

Costco Wholesale Corp. launched its own line of beer under the Kirkland Signature brand. The company is offering its members Hefeweizen Amber Ale, as well as Pale Ale and Amber Ale.

Instant Oatmeal

The Maple & Brown Sugar instant oatmeal from Trader Joe’s is made with whole-grain oats and is naturally flavored. The breakfast item is microwaveable, certified kosher, low in fat and an excellent source of seven vitamins and minerals. According to Trader Joe’s, one serving of the instant oatmeal supplies one-third of the beta glucan soluble fiber recommended for one day.
