The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA),
New York, said its 2008 Washington Conference will offer “briefings, panels and share groups devoted to soaring costs, third-party audits and proposed new laws.” The conference will be held October 6-7 at The Liaison on Capitol Hill/Affinia Hotel.
Kicking off this year’s conference at the Keynote Dinner will be Stuart Rothenberg, columnist and contributing editor of Roll Call. PLMA said Rothenberg will provide personal insights into the 2008 political campaigns.
In addition, the conference’s annual “Dinner with …” session will feature former Louisiana Sen. John Breaux.
Conference registration is open to all PLMA members and their guests, the association said. Retailer registration is complementary. For more information, send an e-mail to washconf@plma.com
