Publix, which calls itself the largest employee-owned super market chain in the United States, appointed Joesph DiBenedetto to the position of vice president of its Atlanta division last week. DiBenedetto has been with the company since 1975 when he started as a front-service clerk. He also has served as regional director of the Atlanta division since 1995. The appointment will go into effect on the first of the year.
