The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. (A&P),
Montvale, N.J., said its board of directors appointed Sam Martin as the company’s
new president and CEO to succeed Ron Marshall, who left A&P. Previously,
Martin served as chief operating officer at OfficeMax.
