Minneapolis-based Supervalu Inc. said Pamela Knous,
executive vice president and chief financial officer, will leave the company
July 30. She will remain available to the company to assure a smooth transition
of her responsibilities to her successor, who the company plans to name by
October.
“I would like to express my thanks to Pam for her
many years of service to Supervalu,” said Craig Heckert, Supervalu’s CEO and
president. “Pam has been a major factor in the company’s growth and development
for more than a decade. She is leaving the company with strong financial
controls and the flexibility for us to pursue our long-term growth objectives.”
