Topco Associates LLC, Skokie, Ill., said Glenn Backus joined the company as senior vice president, innovation. Backus will be responsible for overseeing all facets of innovation in product, packaging and branding. Most recently, Backus worked for H.E. Butt Grocery Company in San Antonio, where he led the effort to tailor the company’s store experience and created new and unique ways to connect with customers, Topco said.
