Salisbury, N.C.-based Food Lion, a subsidiary of the Belgium-based Delhaize Group, said it named Cathy Green president of the Food Lion family of banners, which includes Food Lion, Bloom, Harveys and Reid’s. The announcement is part of a new U.S. structure Delhaize announced last month.

According to the retailer, Green most recently served as chief operating officer for Food Lion LLC, where she oversaw operations for Food Lion, Bloom, Bottom Dollar Food, Harveys and Reid’s.
