Downers Grove, Ill.-based Hearthside Food solutions said it acquired the Consolidated Biscuit Co. of McComb, Ohio, and Golden Temple of Oregon’s cereal division, based in Eugene, Ore. The combination of the three businesses will create one of North America’s premier bakeries, with approximately $700 million in total revenue, a sizeable manufacturing footprint with 12 facilities across seven states, and long-term relationships with many of North America’s leading food companies and retailers.

Following the acquisitions, Hearthside said it will offer its customers diverse manufacturing capabilities across a variety of baked foods, including cookies, crackers, granola and cereal bars, snack mixes and cereals.

“Through these acquisitions, Hearthside partners with two industry leaders to expand our product capabilities to better serve our existing and new customers. We look forward to building new relationships, supplying new products and further positioning Hearthside as a leader in the baking industry.”
