Giovanni Food Co., a Syracuse, N.Y.-based
manufacturer of branded and private label tomato-based products, announced the
purchase of a new production facility to support its rapidly expanding
business. Previously occupied by the Ventre Packing Co., the 67,000-square-foot
facility came fully equipped with three production lines. Giovanni, which
increased its workforce by 60 percent since 2006, previously operated out of a
3,500-square-foot building.
