7-Eleven isn't just for slurpees anymore. The convenience store chain recently has started testing sales of whole roasted chickens in its downtown Chicago locations.
The company, typically known for it's on-the-go foods, is looking to expand its market by introducing larger, home meal replacements. Currently the chickens sell for $7.99 each.
The addition of the whole roasted chickens represents just one of many private label packaging products the store has added in the past few years. Consumers can find everything from private label water to single-serve chips inside the store.
