Albaad, a manufacturer and marketer of wet wipes with offices in Israel, Germany and the U.S., said it acquired full ownership of Rostam Ltd., an Israeli manufacturer and marketer of store brand tampons.

"The acquisition of Rostam fits well into Albaad's strategy,” said Amnon Brodi, Albaad's chairman, “because Rostam is a leading player in the tampon manufacturing field in the worldwide private label market."

Rostam manufactures and markets tampons for the global store brand market, Albaad noted, including the United States and Europe. In fact, sales to U.S. retailers account for 83 percent of the company’s activity.
